Cara is two years old, her Mom was concerned when she wasn’t reaching certain milestones and couldn’t walk unaided at 18 months. She was diagnosed with Microcephaly which is a congenital condition associated with incomplete brain development. She needed an MRI to assess how much of the brain was affected but the cost was out of her Mom’s reach and we were approached to assist. Cara had her MRI towards the end of October 2015 and it was discovered that she had bleeding on the brain just after she was born which wasn’t picked up at the time. This damaged the area, which affects both her fine & gross motor skills. Her Mom now knows what therapy she requires to give her a brighter future. All the best Cara!
