Stories of Hope - Liam
Liam is five years old. He is one of only two people in South Africa with Glycogen Storage Disease and his blood sugar has to be monitored by sensors 24 hours a day. He has to be constantly fed via a tube in his stomach to maintain correct glucose levels. We have assisted with various treatments in the past and now provide him with the sensors needed to monitor his levels. Liam is a busy little boy who enjoys playing outdoors and building complex obstacle courses with his Dad.
